Our Story
KATOOL Pro started with a simple frustration: shop owners were choosing between lifts that were affordable but flimsy, or well-built but priced for dealership-scale budgets. There wasn't much in between for the independent mechanic doing serious work.
We set out to close that gap — sourcing heavy-duty steel construction, holding every lift to ALI-referenced safety standards, and cutting the markup that comes from selling through multiple layers of distributors. What's left is equipment built to run every day in a working bay, sold direct at a price that makes sense for a small shop.
How We Got Here
Direct-to-shop model launched
Started selling two-post lifts direct to independent garages, cutting out traditional dealer markup.
Four-post and scissor lines added
Expanded the catalog to cover four-post parking lifts, scissor lifts, and tire service equipment.
Second distribution center opened
Added a West Coast warehouse to shorten freight times for shops outside the Southeast.
Installer network and trade accounts
500+ certified installers nationwide, Net-30 trade accounts, and shipping to all 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii.
